The busy road will remain closed between Fox Pound and Morden Park Corner from 22 September 22 to 17 October 17 - a period of almost four weeks. A spokesperson for Dorset Council said: "We will be installing new larger drainage pipes and making highway repairs on a stretch of the A35 between Bere Regis and the Bakers Arms roundabout. The larger pipes will reduce the risk of blockages that have been causing the road to flood. "There will be a signed diversion following national regulations for traffic to be diverted onto roads with the same classification as the one that is closed. "Thank you for your patience and understanding while we carry out this essential work."
