INDIANA – The American Red Cross is urging the public to donate blood or platelets this fall to help maintain a stable blood supply. To encourage donations, anyone who donates blood, platelets, or plasma between September 22 and October 19, 2025, will receive a $10 Amazon.com gift card via email. Donations are crucial for helping a wide range of patients, including car accident victims, people with sickle cell disease, and those undergoing cancer treatments. Donors can schedule an appointment by visiting RedCrossBlood.org, calling 1-800-RED CROSS, or using the Red Cross Blood Donor App. Additional drives will be held at Christian Fellowship Church on Oct. 5, Memorial Baptist Church on Oct. 11, and William Henry Harrison High School on Oct. 14.
