James C. Roché passed away peacefully Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025. He was born Dec. 7, 1950, in St. Louis to J. Leon Roché and Verna Eddleman Smith. James enlisted in the U.S. Army in January 1972, serving three years along the East German and Czechoslovakia border. His proudest memory of his military service was teaching at West Point Military Academy. Survivors include his wife, Pamala; children, James K. and Christianna; and grandchildren Taven, Takoda, Troy, Aria, Missy, Loralai and Everlee.
