Richard Pike, of Pinfold Close, Riccall, pleaded guilty on his first appearance before York Magistrates Court to the violence which happened on November 4. He was fined £500 and ordered to pay £500 compensation to the victim, as well as £85 prosecution costs and a £200 statutory surcharge. He was made subject to two restraining orders aimed at protecting two people from the village between York and Selby.
