He said he rarely sees other people walking to the site on Blackmore Park Road, attributing this to a lack of a "safe" footpath. Worcestershire County Council has said it is considering improvements to walking and cycling infrastructure in Malvern. It is currently holding a consultation, which shows proposals for Blackmore Park Road to form part of a new cycling network. A spokesperson for the authority said: "We are currently engaging on our Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP) for South Worcestershire, including Malvern. "While local cycling and walking infrastructure plans don’t provide funding, an adopted plan strengthens our ability to secure future investment in active travel.
