Rain will sweep across Sonoma and Napa counties through midweek before skies clear and summer-like warmth quickly returns, forecasters say.
Since Monday, scattered storms have dropped between a tenth and six-tenths of an inch across the North Bay, with the highest totals in the coastal mountains.
Santa Rosa and Sonoma recorded about two-tenths, Yountville saw a tenth, and just under three-tenths fell near Healdsburg.
Forecast totals call for up to 3/4 of an inch in the coastal mountains, about a 1/2 inch in Santa Rosa and a 1/3 of an inch in Napa.
Santa Rosa is forecast to reach 79 degrees, Healdsburg 81 and Napa 77.
