Darrel Calvin Pope, age 75, of Menard, Texas, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2025, in San Angelo. Darrel was born on September 2, 1950 in San Angelo, Texas, to Abner Robert Pope and Naomi Maud (Stewart) Pope. Graveside services with Military Honors for Darrel Calvin Pope will be at 10:00am, Monday, September 8, 2025, at Rest Haven Cemetery in Menard. Darrel is survived by his brother Harold Pope and his wife Roxie of San Angelo, Texas; nephews Ray Pope and wife Sylvia of San Angleo, Texas and Robert Pope and wife Mindy of McCamey, Texas and nieces Rebecca Peterson and husband Paul of Kyle, Texas and Raylene Valdez and husband Mike of San Angelo, Texas and 8 great nieces and nephews and many friends. Memorial contributions in memory of Darrel Calvin Pope may be made to the American Legion in Menard.
