Nelda Delois (Stahnke) Reid, 95, of Katy, Texas formerly of Brownwood, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2025. She graduated high school in Priddy, Texas and married Richard Sealy Reid on December 22nd, 1951 in Goldthwaite, Texas. Nelda was a homemaker for Richard and they raised two wonderful kids while traveling and living all over west Texas and the panhandle. Nelda is survived by her son, Stephen Gregory Reid and wife, May-Leng; daughter, Linda Carolyn Peppins and husband, Larry Peppins; granddaughters, Ellen Reid Adams, Bethany Shatara; grandsons, Richard Reid, Stephen Peppins, David Peppins; and great grandchildren, Isa Shatara, Faith Shatara, Layla Shatara, Orion Adams, Archer Adams; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Nelda was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Reid; a sister, Benita Wesson; and her parents.
