PEASTER – The Early Lady Horns were denied their 20th victory of the season and were handed their first District 8-3A volleyball defeat Friday by Peaster, 25-18, 25-16, 25-8. Pruett finished with eight assists trailed by Frerichs with three and Jamie Lyon with one. DeVillier served the only ace for the Lady Horns. Shea collected two blocks at the net while Rasor, Pruett and DeVillier were each credited with one. The Lady Horns are back in action at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday as they host Comanche.
