John Mark Weatherred, age 59, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 13, 2025, while on a cruise. John Mark was born on September 28 ,1965 in Coleman, Texas to Sumter and LaVerne Weatherred. John Mark formed many close childhood friendships that have grown stronger through the years. For 35 years, John Mark shared his vast knowledge, kindness, humor, and exceptional ability to inspire and motivate students and teachers. John Mark is survived by his husband Darrell, and his father, Sumter Weatherred, many cousins, and close friends.
