The following fishing reports are provided by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the week of September 17:LAKE BROWNWOODGOOD. Catfish are slow on cut shad on main lake flats. Fishing has been pretty good, with the bite steady, especially in the mornings when conditions are favorable. You can pitch these baits off main lake points where brush is topping out at 10-12 feet under the surface. Still some topwater fishing with frogs and walking baits in thick salt cedar in 2-6 feet of water.
