Crime DA: Malden man arrested, two others charged in connection to fatal Dedham shooting James Brown, 23, is scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 1 on charges including murder and carrying a firearm without a license.
Three people are now facing charges, including one man charged with murder, in connection with a fatal June shooting in the parking lot of a Dedham BJ’s, prosecutors announced Tuesday.
Franci Villar, 23, was arrested in connection with the shooting July 20 and previously arraigned in Dedham District Court.
Villar, of Dorchester, is now scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 2 in Norfolk Superior Court, the release said.
A third person, Ivelisse D. Santiago, 24, pleaded not guilty in Norfolk Superior Court on Monday to being an accessory after the fact and carrying a firearm without a license, according to the DA.
