It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt remembrance that we announce the passing of our beloved Carolyn Virginia Perry, who left this world peacefully on September 21, 2025, at the age of 87, in Brownwood, Texas. A visitation for Carolyn will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Cherokee Baptist Church in Cherokee, Tx. Carolyn was born on January 14, 1938, in San Saba, Texas, to Currie Porter Spinks and Naomi Coriene Dewey Spinks, and she spent her life as a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and a friend to many. She was a proud and loving grandmother and great-grandmother to her grandchildren, Kody Silva, Kelcie Silva, Fawn Perry, Starla Hidrogo, and Misty Terpstra, and five great-grandchildren. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Bobby Spinks and his wife Peggy and Billy Spinks and his wife Deanie, and her sister Bonnie Spinks Hamerick and her husband Weldon.
