It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Jean Stacy, a loving wife, mother, nana, and great-nana, born on February 16, 1944, in Portales, NM, to Barbara Pearlene Shiplett. Barbara was a devoted wife to her husband, Alvin Stacy. She was preceded in death by her young son, Scotty Stacy. She was also the adored nana to Shree and Jeff Kuhlers, Brittany and Jay Adams, Ricky Stacy, Bradley Stacy, Kellie Stacy, Bree Stacy, Roper Stacy, and Bailey Marin. Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Pealene Trower, and her stepfather, Ralph Trower; her son, Scotty Stacy; and her brothers, Donnie and Ronnie Shafer.
