Danny “Big Dan” Garcia, 67, of Brownwood, Texas, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025, in Brownwood, surrounded by his loving family, following a short illness. Danny was born on December 2, 1957, in Los Angeles, California, to parents Daniel and Nellie Garcia. His family later moved to Texas, and it was in Brownwood where Danny married Ampara Salazar. He is survived by his two daughters, Monica “Mona” Garcia and Claudia Garcia; his grandson, John Anthony Montgomery; his siblings, Larry Garcia, Andrew Garcia, and Lisa (Chris) Clark; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly. The family of Danny Garcia wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to Solaris Hospice and to all who cared for him and stood by him during his final days.
