Paul Butler, 87, passed away on September 22, 2025. Paul is survived by his wife of 66 years, Virginia; one daughter and two sons, six granddaughters and one grandson. Dr. Paul Butler was born in Sherman, Texas in 1938. Paul began his career in education in Plainview, Texas teaching Texas History to eager 7th and 8th grade students. If Paul were asked to list things that he most loved doing, teaching the Butler Sunday School Class would be at the top of the list.
