The low-cost Avelo Airlines has moved up the date of its last flight out of Redmond Airport, leaving some passengers without a flight for their tickets. The airline’s last flight to Burbank, California will be Oct.20. Zach Bass, Redmond Airport manager, confirmed Friday evening that the airline will leave for good sooner than the original Dec. 1 deadline. Avelo announced in July that it was canceling all its flights its flights out of Redmond Airport starting in August as part of a strategic move to shut down its base at Hollywood Burbank Airport in the Los Angeles area. Avelo redeployed the aircraft assigned to canceled routes to business areas and beef up its East Coast operations, the company said.
