A serious crash closed part of the A12 Northbound, with drivers urged to avoid the area this morning. Part of the A12 was closed between junction 15 Margaretting and junction 16 Chelmsford, with heavy delays in the area. The emergency services have confirmed two people were sent to hospital. "Two women were transported to hospital by road ambulance with serious injuries. "One to the Royal London Hospital and one to Broomfield hospital."
