A Prineville man was arrested on suspicion of multiple criminal charges after an incident late Saturday morning in which shots were reportedly fired in town. According to a Prineville Police Department report, on Sept. 20, at about 11:30 a.m., officers and deputies responded to reports of shots fired in the 500 block of Northwest Ninth Street. Callers reported that several rounds had been fired into an occupied apartment building. Upon arrival, officers found a man, later identified as 29-year-old Francisco Nunez, of Prineville, armed with a large knife and a pistol, both of which were holstered. Nunez sustained minor injuries during the arrest and was provided medical treatment before being lodged in the Crook County Jail.
