Healing Reins Equine Assisted Services will host its annual Diamonds & Dust Gala on Saturday in Tumalo, featuring dinner, auctions, dancing and a new fundraising highlight called the Toast for Transformation. Guests will have the chance to win two 2-carat diamonds donated by Pave Fine Jewelry, with proceeds supporting the nonprofit’s equine-assisted therapies and expanded pediatric therapy programs. “Diamonds & Dust is more than a gala — it’s a gathering of people who believe in the power of horses and human connection to transform lives,” said Polly Cohen, executive director of Healing Reins. The event is presented by Coyote Rock Ranch, a longtime supporter of the organization. Healing Reins serves more than 1,000 people each year through adaptive riding, mental health therapy, and pediatric physical and occupational therapy.
