Liam, whose real name is anonymised, shared his story at the Active Essex Foundation's conference at Colchester United Football Stadium. "But after being referred to the Active Essex Foundation, I found a passion for boxing, martial arts and fitness. The conference brought together representatives from Essex Police, the youth justice sector, probation services, and community organisations to explore how sport and physical activity can be used to prevent youth crime.
