Tendring Council launched the four-week public consultation on two conservation area appraisals - one for Manningtree and Mistley, and one for St Osyth - on Monday, September 22. The consultation follows proposed changes to the boundaries of these areas, based on feedback from previous consultations in October 2021 and May 2022. They are part of the council’s ongoing commitment to protecting the area's heritage, as outlined in the Heritage Strategy adopted in 2020.
