Yara Ghana Limited, a leading fertilizer supplier in the country, has presented to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture GH¢ 20, 000, 100 bags of fertilizer and some souvenirs to support this year’s Farmers Day celebration. Mr Sergio Godoy, Managing Director of Yara Ghana, who made the presentation in the company of Head of Africa Unit of Yara, Benhard Fonseka, said the fertilizer supplier remains committed to the cause of the Ghanaian. He said over the years, Yara has supported the celebration of the Farmers Day and this year’s is not going to be an exception. “As partners with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Yara Ghana has over the past years been supportive of the Farmers Day celebrations to reward the hard working farmers of Ghana,” he said. Mr Godoy noted that Yara Ghana would continue to provide quality crop nutrition solutions as well as share knowledge that it has acquired through its research activities around the world.
