Oscar Allen, 23, of St Julians Street, appeared at Swansea Crown Court charged with eleven offences. Allen was charged with engaging in coercive and controlling behaviour against his partner between September last year and August 12 this year. Allen, who was represented by James Hartson, denied coercive control, intentional strangulation, and robbery. Prosecutor Georgia Donohue said a trial would be sought on the three remaining charges. He was remanded into custody, and Judge Paul Thomas KC set a trial date for February 4.
