The incident was reported at 6.37pm near Abermawr, Haverfordwest. However, it was then confirmed the yacht was in no distress. A spokesperson for HM Coastguard Fishguard said: “Team tasked along with RNLI Fishguard Lifeboat to a report of a possible yacht in difficulty off Abermawar. “The team arrived at Abermawr and met with the informant who explained what had been seen and the location, the Milford Haven control room were passed this information and were able to make contact with the the yacht and confirm that they were in no distress. "With all well, coastguards and lifeboat were stood down.”
