ANN ARBOR — Two stars from last year’s Michigan basketball team returned to campus earlier this month. In addition to snagging a banner, Michigan reached the Sweet 16 and finished 27-10 in May’s first season. Yaxel Lendeborg, a 6-foot-8 forward from UAB, is one of four transfers. “The one thing about Yaxel is I do know that when the lights are on, he moves better, he’s quicker, he’s faster, he’s more athletic,” May said. Said May: “I don’t see why we can’t compete with every single team in the country on any given night.”
