File Photo by John Angelillo/UPI | License PhotoSept. 30 (UPI) -- Former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler began serving a four-day jail sentence in Tennessee's Williamson County for driving under the influence and carrying a firearm while intoxicated. Responding police said Cutler had bloodshot eyes, was slurring his words and possessed a handgun while intoxicated. He began serving his sentence Monday morning in the Williamson County JailCutler was an NFL quarterback for the Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins from 2006 through 2017. Cutler also totaled 1,682 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on 386 rushing attempts for an average gain of 4.4 yards per rush.
