Three of those touchdowns came in one game, and folks within the NFL are questioning Young's long-term potential yet again. "I don't think he's the guy," an NFL evaluator told The Athletic's Jeff Howe. As Howe wrote, Young has been "downright 'awful' at some points during the Panthers' 1-3 start, according to one evaluator who was granted anonymity so he could speak openly about another team's player. He's looked uncomfortable in the pocket, struggled to see the field, lacked anticipation and failed to be consistently accurate." For now, however, there are no plans to bench Young like the team did last year.
