Patients were unloaded from the bus, decontaminated, and triaged with green, yellow and red triage tags before being transported to multiple local hospitals. About eight minutes into the exercise, the first two yellow triage tags appeared on victims with leg wounds as they were helped off the bus. About 17 minutes after the event started, all but one victim were off of the bus and being treated. Vacaville Unified School District students attended the event to shadow the first responders and medical professionals involved. Vacaville High School teacher Terri Shook brought her Medical Science II students to the event to learn.
