‘I survived’ author will visit Capitol Theater Published 1:30 pm Tuesday, September 23, 2025New York Times Bestselling author Lauren Tarshis will visit the Capitol Theater to promote her new book, “I Survived the Dust Bowl.”Tarshis is a children’s book author, best known for her “I Survived” series. Tarshis’s newest release, “I Survived the Dust Bowl,” is the 25th book of her series. Tarshis will be at the Capitol Theater on Oct. 27 at 6 p.m.“It’s truly an event for the whole family, and everyone is welcome to attend,” said Warren County Public Library Marketing Manager Meagan Miles. The Warren County Public Library will give away 500 free copies of “I Survived The Dust Bowl” at the event. Free tickets are available at warrenpl.orgThe Warren County Library will also host author Silas House at the Capitol on Nov. 4 at 6 p.m.
