Two minor injuries reported in WCPS bus accident Published 3:03 pm Tuesday, September 23, 2025Two children acquired minor injuries following a Tuesday morning accident involving a Warren County Public Schools school bus and another vehicle, according to a preliminary investigation by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office. According to the preliminary investigation, it appears a driver may have slid a little on wet pavement into the direction the school bus was traveling in, Hightower said. No serious injuries were reported, and medical personnel took two children from the scene to get minor injuries checked out, Hightower said. WCPS stated in the morning that district and school officials were at the scene along with emergency response personnel. Also in the morning, WCPS stated that school officials were contacting all parents/guardians of the involved students individually.
