A key component involves building a Caribbean Digital Education Ecosystem that guarantees equitable access to digital devices, reliable internet connectivity, and shared online learning resources. Furthermore, some nations face a significant brain drain, losing over 70% of their university graduates to migration, which hampers regional development and human capital growth. Mr. Best pointed out that subpar educational outcomes are hampering regional economic progress and exacerbating inequality. Nearly 200 participants—including parents, educators, administrators, development partners, and government ministers—are attending this important gathering, reflecting a shared commitment to transforming education across the Caribbean.
