The power cut was first reported at around 3.20am this morning, Tuesday. This includes Hopkinsons, a butchers which is located on The Cross, which has had to temporarily close. It is understood that Scottish Power is hoping to supply Hopkinsons with an emergency generator so the shop can get back up and running. Over the last 24 hours, Lymm has been hit with a power cut on at least three separate occasions. As a result of the power outages, Cheshire Mix 56 has had to come off air on a number of occasions.
