John Ashworth, formerly of Marion, Ohio, Boca Grande, Florida, and Cedarville, Michigan passed away on September 20, 2025, surrounded by his family. John was born on April 15, 1934, in Huntington, West Virgina to Lewis J. and Johnnie Summers Ashworth. John went on to practice law at Ashland Oil Corp. in Ashland, Kentucky, and then into private practice in Marion, Ohio. He was past president of United Way in Marion and served as School Board President for Marion City Schools.
