The B’Hive, located in the High Street, has been granted a premises licence for the former Wheatsheaf Inn. Applicant Sean Grace said the new venture would attract a “more mature audience” and stressed noise levels would be carefully managed. “With the option of alcohol into the evening, and as part of that we want to offer live music. On the other side is The Antelope pub, which regularly hosts live music. Any further noise will make it extremely hard to function and will cause serious damage to my health and wellbeing,” she said.
