Dr Emma McComb was named the council's Community Climate Champion for August. Emma holds a PhD in sustainability, with a research focus on urban sustainable tourism. Emma is also committed to inspiring the next generation and leads by example as a mother of four. Her reusable rice coffee cup has become a symbol of her dedication to reducing waste and championing sustainable living. Emma believes that lasting change comes through education, engagement, and community spirit.
