A top aide to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has dismissed the new political coalition formed by opposition figures, saying it is made up of “expired politicians” with no real influence. Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Print Media, said this on Tuesday during a media chat with journalists at the NUJ Press Centre in Kano. He explained that the president is not bothered about the coalition or any political alliance ahead of the 2027 elections. Abdulaziz stressed that President Tinubu is focused on nation building, not cheap politics. On claims that the administration is favoring the South with projects, Abdulaziz rejected the idea, noting that massive projects in the North are still ongoing.
