That person is correct to say that a Connolly victory is the biggest defeat to the establishment in this country, but he’s wrong to suggest that she’s the least worse of the three. I am still going to be spoiling my vote. At the same time, if you put a gun to my head and made me choose, I would want Connolly to win as it would harm the government the most. Regardless, I think a vote for Connolly is pointless (unless the other candidates implode at some point, which I accept is not impossible). She’ll need a massive first preference, (40% minimum) to have a chance as FFG will be transfer friendly between each other.
