Ibrahimas Bieliauskas from Dungannon Road, Ballygawley is charged with cultivating, possessing and intending to supply cannabis as well as aiding and abetting another person to supply. Offending is alleged to have occurred on December 3, 2024. There has been no application for bail and a defence barrister previously requested the case to be speeded up. A prosecuting lawyer told Dungannon Magistrates Court this was now possible and indictment papers had been fast-tracked. District Judge Francis Rafferty remanded Bieliauskas in continuing custody to appear by video-link for a committal hearing on September 24 when he is expected to be returned for trial.
