Troupe stages free public performance on Oct. 13HERMISTON — The community is invited to join the mix for a sweet production as Portland Opera to Go presents “The Elixir of Love” in Hermiston.
The show will be staged Monday, Oct. 13, at 7 p.m. in the Hermiston High School auditorium, 600 S. First St.
Portland Opera to Go has introduced and increased access to the genre by creating shortened versions and hitting the road across Oregon and Washington, as well as parts of California and Idaho.
While the operatic troupe is in town, Clough said they will present a “more intimate performance” on Oct. 14 for secondary students.
