Fire Engine 12 was delivered to the station with nearly all of the necessary equipment ready to go, including hose, axe, tools, hydraulic tools, fans and more. The tools and equipment to fully furnish the truck cost the city approximately $70,000, which was a separate purchase. The last element needed before the truck can fully be put into service is the installation and programming of a radio. “We’re just proud that we have it and we’re super proud that the council and mayor supports us in making sure we have top quality equipment,” Love said.
