Girl Scout Troop 30564 celebrated the creation of a craft closet at the Shelby County Arts Council in Old Mill Square with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Sept. 23. The new craft closet, located at the left entrance to the SCAC, will allow members of the community to exchange craft supplies and artwork. “When we were in Dauphin Island, she saw a craft closet there. She comes to the arts council for art classes, art camp, ukulele lessons—so she really liked that idea.
