Hosted by Lockshield Partners, the free public workshop aimed to educate consumers about current scams and how to avoid them. Dan Klein, senior partner of Lockshield Partner, says, “It’s really all about awareness and prevention.”Klein says scams are always evolving, so when you think you have it figured out, something new can show up, especially considering technology. Because if you can spot a scam, you can stop a scam.”The next Scam Jam shredding event will take place Friday from noon to 4 p.m. in Henderson.
