COLONIE – Colonie police responded to the Econo Lodge on Central Avenue at 1 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 7, and found a woman with drugs and an open warrant.
According to reports, Nicolina Vardine, of Albany, was at the hotel and found to have a large quantity of cocaine.
Vardine gave police a fake name, which may have been because she was wanted by Schenectady police.
She was charged with criminal possession of cocaine, a felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance and false personation, both misdemeanors.
Vardine was processed and turned over to Schenectady officers for the warrant.
