On Tuesday, U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany launched his campaign for governor of Wisconsin. The Republican politician has represented Wisconsin’s 7th district since winning a 2020 special election. Prior to that, he served in the state government in both the Wisconsin State Assembly and State Senate. Tiffany is from Wisconsin and grew up on a dairy farm near Elmwood, Wisc., and graduated from UW-River Falls. With Tiffany’s announcement, there are now three Republicans running and at least five Democrats running for governor.
