Norfolk man charged with attempted first-degree murder after starting fire, police sayLINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was arrested Monday after lighting a house on fire in Norfolk, police say. Around 3:40 a.m., officers responded to a fire at a home near North Ninth Street and Koenigstein Avenue. A few hours later, investigators deemed the fire had been “intentionally set.”Surveillance footage showed a man, later identified as 36-year-old Devan Marshall of Norfolk, carrying a gasoline can and a firearm near the home. He was found at his home and arrested on suspicion of first-degree arson, attempted first-degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
