Genel Energy and DNO have issued statements relating to recent media reports of an agreement on the export of oil from Iraqi Kurdistan via the Iraq-Turkey Pipeline to the port of Ceyhan. Noting the DNO statement, its joint venture partner Genel Energy, welcomed the progress made to date. "DNO's exposure is different than that of other international oil companies" said Executive Chairman Bijan Mossavar-Rahmani. DNO and its joint venture partner Genel Energy International Limited have stepped up spending towards repairs to the damage to the Tawke and Peshkabir fields following drone attacks in July 2025.
