The Audubon Community School District celebrates continued progress shown by both school buildings in this year’s performance report from the Iowa Department of Education. On statewide assessments, 81.31 percent of Audubon students were proficient in science, nearly 15 percentage points above the state average of 67.14 percent. Compared to other schools in Iowa, Audubon CSD was 11.37 percentage points higher in mathematics and 13.09 percentage above the average in English language arts proficiency rates. Graduation rates also excelled above the average reported for Iowa at 96.77 percent, over by 8.5 percent for the four-year graduation rate and 100 percent, 10.12 percentage points above for the state’s five-year graduation rate.
