Carroll County Conservation staff and board members celebrated the 20-year anniversary since the grand opening of the Swan Lake Conservation Education Center. Carroll County Conservation Director Jason Christensen says that the physical building has been opened to the public for two decades, but the plans and idea behind it extended well before that. Christensen says the past 20 years has seen some changes, both to the education center and to various programs and education opportunities offered through Carroll County Conservation. He encourages all to come out and visit the Education Center Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. as winter hours are now in place.
