Republic Bank signs new Collective Agreement with Union

Henry)NewsTHE COMMERCIALTECHNICAL AND ALLIEDWORKERS UNION (CTAWU), and Republic Bank St.Vincent and the Grenadines branch, have inked a new three-year collective agreement after negotiations which the union’s General secretary, Joseph Burns Bonadie, said were “cordial and very fruitful for both parties”.
“Shop stewards here, they are the workers who represent the bank, and before we agreed on anything, we look for endorsement from the members.
“I’m not living in Mars…I’m living in St.Vincent and the Grenadines.
The bank provided a lot of assistance during the period after the passage of Hurricane Beryl, not only to staff, but generally to persons outside the bank,” Bonadie noted.
